The difference between the right word and almost the right word is the difference between lightning, and the lightning bug. -Mark Twain

Do you ever write your own stories? I, for one, write my own stuff a lot, and I want you to be more prepared, so you don’t run into the same things I had to deal with. One of the first issues I always seem to run into is where to write my stories. Now, I’ve tried a lot of apps, and my personal favorite is google docs. This app has a lot of useful features. It connects to your gmail, and saves automatically, so you won’t use your progress. I found that feature very useful, because I have a tendency to forget to save, and then lose all of my progress. You don’t need internet to use it, so if you are on a plane or something, and lack access to internet, you can still add on to recently opened selections. It is easy to share and collaborate with friends, and you can see when your friend added on. I write a lot with my friends, so if they have a gmail, you can easily share your works with them. It doesn’t have a limit on how much you can write, which I love, and it features word count, and page numbers. It is a very efficient app, with good fonts, that I highly recommend. Another issue I run into is how to make proffesional looking covers, that are free, easy to make, and don’t require giving any personal information, or creating an account. A good app for this is called Over. On over, you can access internet from the app, and the text is easy to manipulate, with many cool features such as unique colors, shadows, curves, fonts, and a wide variety of pre-made graphics. Here is an example of a poster I made using Over. (Actually, it’s on a blog post.)
